The Civil Society and Think Tank Forum (CSF) has become an integral part of the Berlin Process since the second summit in Austria in 2015.

It provides a platform for civil society representatives and experts to exchange ideas and to formulate specific recommendations to decision-makers in order to advance cooperation and integration in the Western Balkans.

The CSF will produce policy recommendations in six thematic areas: Common Regional Market and Growth; Gender and Diversity; Reconciliation and Dealing with the Past; Environment, Energy and Decarbonisation; Security; and Good Governance.

A conference report will be published after the Forum in Podgorica to capture the discussions and conclusions.

Objective:

Strengthen the voice of civil society in the Berlin Process

Promote exchange and strengthen networks among civil society organizations and think tanks from the Western Balkans Six

Enable constructive dialogue between civil society and decision-makers from the Western Balkans Six and the EU

Contribute to regional cooperation, the reform process, and thus EU accession of the Wester Balkans Six countries
