CSF CSF - The platform came to life as part of the Berlin Process in Vienna in 2015.
The Civil Society and Think Tank Forum is organized annually as an official side event of the Berlin Process. It provides a platform that brings together think-tanks and civil society organizations from the region to contribute their ideas to advance cooperation and integration in the Western Balkans.
The 2026 edition is hosted by the Government of Kosovo and organised by Open Society Foundations – Western Balkans, building on its earlier stewardship of CSF Tirana 2023.
The Forum will bring together civil society organizations and think-tanks from across the Western Balkans, representatives of EU (European) institutions and Berlin Process partner countries, and regional and international organizations.
Main Forum
5 to 7 October 2026
In-Country Meetings
held in WB6 capitals in July 2025 where civil society representatives and experts convene in cross-thematic working groups to discuss and formulate specific policy recommendations.
